Innovations in Food Packaging, Shelf Life and Food Safety is a platform for packaging and food safety professionals (researchers, food manufacturers, start-up founders), students and policy makers to discuss advancements in the food packaging and food safety. The third edition of the conference will discuss on advances in emerging food packaging issues such as recycling, product safety, biomaterials, nano-packaging, innovative packaging technologies, food safety, biosensors, food spoilage, shelf life, multisensorics etc. to deliver a safe food and food losses in the entire food chain. The Nonthermal Division of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and the European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST) appointed Tecnologico de Monterrey as the organizer of the 2019 edition of the International Nonthermal Processing Workshop and Short Courses (November 3-6, 2019). In 1991, the Conference of Food Engineering (CoFE) was developed by Martin Okos together with AIChE. CoFE has been held approximately biennially ever since. Over the years, CoFE was made part of the AIChE Annual Meeting. Since 2005, the decision was made to organize CoFE independently of larger organizations. It was then organized successfully by volunteer groups in 2009, 2013, 2014.
Chamber of Food Engineers has been organizing The Food Engineering Congress regularly since 1992. With the great experience and knowledge gained over the years, we have decided to transform it into an international congress. Hence we are organizing the 1st International / 11th National Food Engineering Congress on November 7-9, 2019 in Antalya.
